Hilarion, metropolitan of Didymoteicho, ca. 1281-1343.

Pupil of Makarios and monk in Constantinople, he became a priest at thirty and bishop at sixty. He was probably among the supporters of Grigorios Palamas. From 1341 (and earlier) until 1343 he was metropolitan of Didymoteicho. He is thought to have possessed the gift of prophecy. He died in 1343.
